Nueva ruta unirá Chiapas con puertos de Centroamérica.

México es el nexo natural entre Centro América y los Estados Unidos, por lo que la iniciativa presentada por la firma Grupo Navemar es realmente positiva.

La empresa tendrá a su cargo un servicio de transporte marítimo que uniría Puerto Chiapas con terminales de Guatemala y de otros países de Centroamérica.

El navío encargado de un viaje de prueba entre Puerto Chiapas y Puerto Quetzal, fue el el buque «MV Aries» con resultados mas que positivos, según lo revelaron fuentes oficiales.

Este servicio potencia el Transporte Marítimo de Corta Distancia (TMCD) que logra reducir costos y también el consumo de combustible por tonelada-km hasta seis veces y por tanto las emisiones de CO2 hasta 5 veces.
