El Puerto de Santander podrá abastecer GNL para 2023
La Autoridad Portuaria de Santander (España) dispondrá de las instalaciones necesarias para el abastecimiento de Gas Natural Licuado (GNL) para 2023. De modo que, el enclave santanderino podrá recibir los nuevos buques de la naviera Brittany Ferries.
A través de estas dos embarcaciones propulsadas por GNL, las emisiones contaminantes de CO2 bajarán un 46% por pasajero en las conexiones entre Reino Unido y España.
El recinto cántabro está trabajando para que todo esté listo y así atender las necesidades del operador marítimo, en cuanto a la capacidad de pasajeros y a las mercancías que necesite en la terminal de los Muelles de Maliaño.
