Realizan 5.743 inspecciones y certificados para la importación y exportación agropecuaria en el Puerto de Barranquilla
El equipo sanitario del Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario de Colombia (ICA) realizó 5.743 inspecciones y certificados para la importación y exportación de productos agrícolas y pecuarios en el Puerto de Barranquilla en este año marcado por la pandemia del Covid-19.
La entidad, además, llevó a cabo la visita a 459 buques que se anclaron en esa zona del Atlántico.
En ese mismo puerto, los funcionarios inspeccionaron y verificaron el estado y la calidad de 73 cargamentos con 1.852 toneladas naranjas, las cuales fueron exportadas a diferentes partes del mundo, en fechas comprendidas desde mayo a octubre de 2020.
“Los servicios del ICA no han parado, y continúan en total normalidad y de manera ininterrumpida. Desde que inició la cuarentena, hemos contribuido en mantener el abastecimiento, y evitado que el riesgo reportado por el Coronavirus impacte al sector y la economía nacional”, resaltó el subgerente de Protección Fronteriza, Diego Rojas Morea
