El Terminal Portuario Guayaquil, operado por SAAM, lanzó un aplicación móvil, pensada para transportistas, y que tiene el objetivo de facilitar la comunicación de la cadena logística.
Ya en 2006, TPG había iniciado un desarrollo digital que recompensó las operaciones durante el año de la pandemia de coronavirus.
Comenzó por una digitalización sistemática de servicios portuarios y mantuvo activas las herramientas claves a clientes y proveedores en los días más difícil.
Ahora, en 2021, la terminal presenta “TPG Móvil” para dar fortaleza a uno de los sectores fundamentales del comercio exterior. El transportista tendrá asistencia telefónica directa 24/7, información actualizada sobre la carga, sistema de notificación de tránsito yoperación portuaria, verificación de turnos, entre otros.
El beneficio se verá en la planificación productiva del transportista, y el ahorro de recursos.
Es la primera aplicación desarrollada por un terminal portuario, pensada en el trabajo de los transportistas ecuatorianos.
En esta primera fase, el desarrollo de la app está enfocado en el sector importador, mientras que el sector exportador será el protagonista de la segunda.
